Coachful vs Delenta: tiers, client limits and coaching delivery
Both are coaching platforms. The practical choice is which plan unlocks your client count, group work, courses, mobile access and team controls, then which workflow your clients will actually use.

Delenta is a real coaching platform, not a calendar tool dressed as one. It brings client records, goals, tasks, scheduling, agreements, packages, groups and courses into one product. Coachful solves many of the same jobs.
This makes the comparison more useful, and harder, than comparing either platform with a course store.
The decision turns on thresholds: how many client portals you need, whether you run groups, whether clients need a mobile app, whether you sell courses and whether your organization needs formal team controls. Sticker prices without those thresholds tell only half the story.

The short answer
Delenta and Coachful both cover booking, client management, contracts, programmes and payments. Delenta lists $29 Starter, $49 Pro and $79 Premium monthly; its client portal, group, course and mobile features change by tier. Compare those gates with your assigned Coachful price and the workflow you need.
Delenta pricing by capability gate
Delenta’s published pricing page separates monthly and yearly bills. Its Teams tier currently asks for a quote, so an old advertised starting price is not treated as a live quote here.
| Plan | Month-to-month | Annual invoice | Threshold that matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29/mo | $229/yr | 10 client portals; solo booking, CRM and e-signing |
| Pro | $49/mo | $469/yr | 40 client portals; group coaching and group packages |
| Premium | $79/mo | $699/yr | Unlimited portals; courses, mobile app and more branding |
| Teams | Request pricing | Request pricing | Multi-coach roles, reporting and payroll features |
The annual invoice is paid up front. Vendor terminology is “prospect and client portals”; check how your own clients are counted before choosing a tier.
The tier jump in a real practice
A coach with eight one-to-one clients can start on Delenta Starter at $29 monthly. The eleventh portal moves that practice beyond the published Starter cap. A coach with twenty clients and one cohort needs Pro at $49 monthly for both the 40-portal limit and group tools.
A coach who delivers courses or asks clients to use the mobile app needs Premium at $79 monthly, even with far fewer than 40 clients.
At the annual prices Delenta publishes, those three paths are $229, $469 and $699 for a year. The Starter-to-Premium difference is $470 a year. That is the cost of the capability gate for someone who otherwise fits Starter, before taxes or payment processing.
Delenta also lists no additional platform transaction fee; your payment provider still charges its own processing fees.
Coachful prices by assigned plan and client capacity, with a 0% platform fee. Its paid plans include the client-facing coaching system, but plan limits and higher-tier features still matter. Get the actual assigned quote for your account rather than replacing it with a generic public price from a blog.
Where the products diverge
Delenta’s case
- Strong session, goal and client management for individual and group coaching.
- Published multi-coach controls, coach payroll and corporate reporting on Teams.
- HIPAA compliance is listed on the Teams tier; ask Delenta for contract and scope details if required.
- A no-card trial is advertised, though the pricing page gives conflicting 7-day and 14-day descriptions.
Coachful’s case
- Native between-session habits, check-ins and task completion tied to a live engagement.
- Built-in video alongside Zoom, Google Meet and Teams options.
- Website, funnels and email automation share the client record with programmes and payments.
- No HIPAA claim; do not choose it for a procurement requirement it cannot satisfy.
Run the same client journey in both
Sell a six-session package, collect an intake form and signature, then book session one. Both products can make that commercial path substantially cleaner than a generic scheduler plus a PDF. Delenta’s integration list includes Zoom, Meet, Teams, Stripe, PayPal, Google and Outlook.
Coachful also supports an in-app video room. The integration distinction is concrete only if you plan to run calls inside the platform.
Next, deliver a four-week programme with one task, one habit and one check-in each week. Delenta documents goals and client tasks, including comments and completion notifications. Our feature registry marks a dedicated recurring habit and daily check-in workflow as partial, so do not treat the two products as identical on that specific interaction.
Test it in a client account; a checklist in a sales matrix cannot tell you if clients will use it.
Finally, ask what happens at twenty, forty and fifty clients, and with a second coach. Delenta has a clear portal ladder and a quote-based Teams product. Coachful has client-capacity and team plans.
A solo platform comparison does not settle an agency procurement decision; request each vendor’s seat, permission, export, support and compliance terms in writing.
The costs outside the subscription
Card processing sits outside both platform subscriptions. So can video or email services if you deliberately retain a specialist tool, custom-domain registration, and staff seats at team scale. Delenta says a license fee per additional Teams seat applies but does not publish that fee. Budget it as unknown until quoted.
Migration time is also real. Export active contacts, programme materials, notes you can lawfully move, signed agreements and payment schedules. Confirm how existing subscriptions will be handled before switching; neither a CSV import nor a product demo moves a live billing agreement by itself.
Common questions
How much does Delenta cost for twenty clients?
Delenta Pro is $49 month-to-month or $469 for a year and lists 40 prospect and client portals. Whether a specific person counts as a portal should be confirmed with Delenta.
Which Delenta plan has the mobile app and courses?
Delenta’s current pricing page lists the mobile app and digital course creator on Premium, $79 monthly or $699 annually.
Does Delenta charge a platform transaction fee?
Delenta’s plan comparison says no additional transaction fees. Payment processing charges from Stripe, PayPal or another provider remain separate.
Is Delenta HIPAA compliant on every plan?
The current public pricing table lists HIPAA compliance under Teams. Ask Delenta for a business associate agreement and the exact product scope before handling regulated data.
Is Coachful cheaper than Delenta?
It depends on your preserved Coachful pricing assignment, client count and required features. Compare your actual Coachful quote with the Delenta tier that unlocks your workflow, not just each product’s lowest advertised plan.
The verdict
Delenta is a credible choice for a coaching operation that likes its client and group workflow, especially if its Teams controls or published compliance scope are needed. Coachful is the better fit when the work between sessions, the marketing front door and the client record should live in one product. Price the tier that supports your actual practice and make a client complete a week in each before deciding.
